⌛Your customers are impatient – see figure below:

⚡ Logical Structure: ensures quick overview.
⚡ Clear Layout: Including numbered, clear headings.
⚡ Graphics/Text in Close Interaction: Graphic symbol is Eye Catching.
⚡ Concise and Correct Language: has only advantages

ESSENTIAL: Single-Source Publishing (SSP) – it's about REUSING your material (texts, graphics, etc.):

What is NORMALLY understood by SSP:
1. Divide all content into TOPICS. A topic is, for example, an image, an entire chapter, or a small paragraph.
2. Instead of, for example, Word, you use special SSP SOFTWARE, where you LINK to your topics.
3. For each PUBLICATION: Insert topics. See more here.

Even WITHOUT software, you can achieve a significant degree of SSP (reuse):
Below is a Microphone Calibration System:, where the drawing works as:
1. Parts list, 2. Functional diagram, 3. Installation instructions, 4. Setup for Control/test.
Only one drawing to generate and maintain – also a form of Single-Source Publishing.

(A) Product Manuals/Project Documentation

(B) German/English/Danish: Teaching etc.

MY Concept:
Engineer, Aalborg University:
Also study in documentation

German/English/Danish:
Used English daily for decades
Work in 7 German federal states

(A) Product manuals/Project documentation!

I have 22 years of experience in preparing and optimizing guides - in many different industries - see Companies.

Regardless of product: Always the same challenges:
The content must first be in place. This includes, among other things:
1-Product description, 2-Safety instructions, 3-Installation, 4- Operation, 4-Troubleshooting, 5-Maintenance, 6-Spare parts, 7- Disposal, …
Larger companies often use a Content Management System (CMS) w/ Single-source Publishing (SSP).
improve must then be in place – a logical table of contents.
Illustrations og Text must go hand in hand – so that the user can quickly grasp the message.
You can find more information about creating guides in to standards.
